Hi, my name is Wade Melton and I am the founder and President of Mustard Seed Capital. I am a registered investment advisor, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), an attorney, and a Realtor in Texas. I started Mustard Seed Capital in 2005 after more than 12 years of experience in the fields of finance, accounting, investment management and law. I graduated cum laude from Baylor University in 1992 majoring in finance and I received my Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law in 1998. In the years following law school, I worked for the former accounting/consulting firm of Arthur Andersen, practiced as an attorney in a San Antonio business and real estate law firm, and helped manage a private equity fund. I have also managed steadily increasing investment portfolios for individuals since 1995. My passion has always been to run my own business and to combine the unique education and experience I have been blessed with to make a difference in other peoples lives. I am a native Texan and the proud father of two children with my wife, Kirsta, to whom I’ve been happily married for over 10 years.Outside of my family and work, my passions include God, sports, fantasy baseball, chess, working out, triathlons, reading and movies with a sports theme.
